Everyday Vacay

Everyday Vacay promises vacation mode without the vacation, which is a claim beer names make constantly and rarely earn. Melon, strawberry, and orange notes at least give it a shot.

"Vacation in a can" is a promise beer marketing makes so often it barely registers anymore. Most of the time it's a hazy IPA with tropical fruit hops and a beach-themed label, indistinguishable from a dozen others chasing the same feeling.

Everyday Vacay is built on Strata and Citra, double dry-hopped for a tropical and citrus punch, but the specific notes worth noting are melon, fresh strawberries, and orange - a slightly different fruit profile than the usual mango-pineapple shorthand this category leans on. The body stays medium, the bitterness stays soft, and at 6.9 percent ABV it's not asking for a nap afterward. It's tapping today at both Guggman Haus taprooms and available in cans, alongside Hazy Days Route #52 and a Mexican lager rounding out the day's releases.

Whether it actually delivers "vacation mode" is a matter of personal standards for what counts as a vacation. The fruit notes are real, at least, which is more than most beers with this exact pitch can say.
