Ever get mildly annoyed when something you already liked gets a rebrand for no obvious reason? I was ready to be annoyed here too. Then I actually read what changed.
Backyard Birdwatcher used to be called Hazy Days Route #26, and Guggman Haus has just given it a proper name to go with the artwork. Underneath, it's the same NEIPA, 7.2% ABV, Citra and Simcoe taking the lead with bright tropical fruit, sweet citrus, and candied pineapple. Soft, juicy, made for slow sips rather than urgency.
Indianapolis' Guggman Haus tapped this one Thursday alongside two other new releases, so there's plenty else going on if this particular hop profile isn't your speed.
Available now in new cans.
Turns out the rename was earned. Carry on, no complaints after all.
