Peripheral Vision

Strawberry kiwi Capri Sun, peach soft serve, and Funfetti frosting, in one 8.2 percent Imperial Hazy IPA. Collaboration with a Quebec brewery is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here.

You know how a good collab is supposed to work? Everybody trades tricks instead of just slapping two logos on the same can. That's what happened here.

Peripheral Vision teamed The Establishment up with Brasserie du Bas Canada, adopting their preferred Weyermann malt and their dry-hop schedule and rates for an Imperial Hazy IPA at 8.2% ABV. The tasting notes read like a candy aisle: strawberry kiwi Capri Sun, peach soft serve, Funfetti frosting. Pushing the limits of hop impact while borrowing someone else's playbook is a genuinely collaborative way to build a beer, rather than just co-branding one.

Available now from The Establishment Brewing Company in Calgary. Worth grabbing a few before your peripheral vision is all that's left of them.
