Circle of Hell Leans on Nelson Sauvin for a White-Wine Turn

Circle of Hell, a Hazy Double IPA from Adroit Theory Brewing Company hopped with Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Mosaic, has returned to the Purcellville, Virginia taproom as part of the brewery's rotating hazy IPA series.

Circle of Hell is the newest entry to cycle back into Adroit Theory's ongoing series of Hazy IPAs, a lineup the Purcellville, Virginia brewery revisits regularly rather than treating as a single fixed recipe. This edition is a Hazy Double IPA, double dry-hopped with Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Mosaic.

The brewery describes the beer as opaque with juicy aromatics and a soft, pillowy body, the combination of traits that defines the modern hazy style. Nelson Sauvin is the hop worth noting here: it tends to bring a grape-like, white-wine quality that stands apart from the more straightforward citrus and tropical notes typical of Citra and Mosaic, giving this batch a slightly different aromatic angle than a standard hazy.

Adroit Theory's newsletter calls this "the return of a recent release," language that points to a brewery cycling favorites back through rotation rather than retiring them after one run.

Circle of Hell is available now at the Adroit Theory taproom, on draft and in cans.
