Never the Master

A 10 percent Hazy Triple IPA that describes itself as a study rather than a statement. That's a fairly modest way to talk about a beer this big.

Ten percent ABV is not a number that usually comes with humility attached.

Never the Master is North Park's Hazy Triple IPA, built on a trifecta of Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Tangier hops that the brewers apparently found worth exploring further, especially paired with that 10% ABV. It comes out as creamy orange julius, mango, and a medley of tropical fruit, the kind of beer built for slow sipping rather than quick judgments. North Park calls it a study in the style rather than a declaration about it, which is a fairly restrained thing to say about a beer this size.

Part of this week's triple can release, available for pickup or CA shipping. True mastery, apparently, is knowing there isn't any. Fine philosophy. Good beer either way.
