Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. - Fitchburg (Craft Beer & Brewery in Fitchburg WI)

Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. has been turning out liquid gold in Fitchburg, Wisconsin for three decades, a feat most breweries can only brag about on a birthday cake. It was dreamed up by two visionary friends (who spent more time swapping hop notes than gossiping about the weather) and has grown into a genuine community hub rather than a pretentious show‑off.

Every pint tells a story – from the complex, unique flavor profiles that make you pause and think about life, to the ever‑changing lineup of new creations that keep regulars coming back for more. The bar encourages exploration with well‑curated flights, perfect for tasting a handful of personalities in one sitting. Food is treated with the same respect: the nachos arrive crunchy and generously loaded, while the Chicken Pot Pie—a reliable take‑out favourite—remains consistently tasty. The atmosphere is flexible enough for concerts, trivia nights, or simply a lazy afternoon with friends. Join the Dane Rewards programme to rack up points and turn each visit into a small victory.
