Nonetheless Oktoberfest Keeps the Copper Malt, Drops the Alcohol

Founders Brewing has given its seasonal Oktoberfest a non-alcoholic counterpart called Nonetheless, aiming for the same rich, malty, copper-hued German lager character at under 0.5% ABV.

Founders Brewing Co.'s Oktoberfest is back for the season, and this year it arrives with a non-alcoholic companion. Nonetheless Oktoberfest is a new German-style beer built to match the original's rich, malty character at under 0.5% ABV.

The brewery describes Nonetheless as slightly sweet with a gorgeous copper hue, carrying the same classic malt profile as the alcoholic version. The name doubles as the pitch: drinkers can keep the steins coming regardless of proof.

Both Oktoberfest and Nonetheless Oktoberfest are available now in the Founders taproom, with wider retail distribution to follow.
