Citra! It's What We Like Here

Green Cheek went back to the drawing board on a single-hop IPA and came out the other side with a beer that tastes like it took the assignment seriously.

Naming a beer after your favorite hop is a bit like naming your restaurant after your favorite ingredient. It only works if the execution backs it up.

Green Cheek went back to the drawing board on this one specifically to back it up: amped up the hops, doubled the whirlpool, doubled the dry hop, and let Citra run the whole show at 7.2% ABV. The result reads as lychee, mango flesh, and orange blossom, which is a fairly specific list of things to get out of a single variety.

$18 for a 4-pack. Not much more to add here. It's an IPA that decided to be about one thing and then actually was about that one thing.
