Shore Shack Frootenanny

Mango, guava, coconut, banana, and key lime, all in one 6 percent sour. Fifth Ward's Shore Shack Frootenanny started as a one-off last year. Now it's a full batch.

Ever have a beer show up once, disappear, and then quietly become the thing people ask about for a year? That's Shore Shack Frootenanny.

It started life at last year's Hootenanny as a small one-off. Fifth Ward liked it enough to bring it back as a full batch, a Tropical Sour at 6% ABV loaded with mango, guava, coconut, banana, and key lime. That's five fruits doing five different jobs, and somehow none of them are stepping on each other.

Fifth Ward's been building this kind of playful, fruit-forward sour into a bit of a signature move, the kind of beer you don't have to think too hard about before your first sip.

It's available now in 16oz cans.

Worth grabbing a few before word gets around again.
