Name: Annual Harvest Fest & Chili Cookoff
Start: 2026-10-04
Location: HiHO Brewing Co.

HiHO Brewing Co. sits on the banks of the Cuyahoga River in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, where a dash of West‑Coast swagger meets the straightforward generosity of Ohio hospitality. The venture sprang from co‑founders Ali and Jon Hovan, two craft‑beer devotees who honed their skills in Denver’s bustling scene before deciding (who swapped mountain views for Ohio cornfields) to bring the love of brewing back home. Their doors swung open in January 2017, unveiling a spacious taproom and a brewhouse that exudes character as soon as you step inside.

Every pint is a testament to Jon’s meticulous approach, whether you’re sipping the crisp Gorge’s Blonde Ale or the hop‑forward Bossy Lady IPA. The menu complements the beer with wood‑fired pizzas made from fresh, local ingredients, while soft pretzel sticks hover nearby for those who like a side of chew. The industrial‑chic interior is clean, roomy, and invites you to linger, and the sour‑beer selection has earned particular praise. Community is woven into the fabric of the place – friends and family helped raise the walls, and the same communal spirit keeps the atmosphere lively and welcoming. In short, HiHO delivers quality craftsmanship without the pretentious fluff, proving that good beer and good company are timeless companions.
