Whoever's in charge of ordering fruit at HiHO Brewing had a busy week. Two hundred and twenty pounds of raspberries, all going into one beer.
Raspberry in the Clouds is a Hazy IPA at 7.2% ABV, and with that much fruit plus a heavy dose of Mosaic hops, it opens with a genuinely huge raspberry aroma before finishing on a crisp grapefruit hop bitterness that keeps it from tipping into dessert territory. The kind of ratio that only makes sense once you taste it.
HiHO runs their taproom out of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and this one's clearly become enough of a favorite that "is BACK" gets its own exclamation point in the announcement.
Available now on draft.
Two hundred twenty pounds of raspberries and a hop bill that still gets the last word. Impressive math.
