You know how some IPAs pick one fruit and just repeat it at you for the whole glass? Supernova doesn't do that.
Willibald Farm built this one on Luna, Vic Secret, and Galaxy hops, and the payoff is a whole sequence: mango up front, then citrus and peach settling in, with grapefruit rind and blackberry showing up on the nose to round things out. It's 6.9% ABV, canned this week, and it's the kind of IPA that keeps giving you something new a few sips in instead of just repeating itself.
Willibald operates out of Ayr, Ontario, a small farming community that suits a brewery this unpretentious about naming a beer after an exploding star and then just letting the hops do the talking.
Available now in 473ml cans.
Worth grabbing one before this batch is gone, they don't tend to stick around.
