Mother Green IPA

Fat Hill's new IPA leans on hops most of us have never tasted before, pine and white wine and berry and melon all at once, at a serious 7.9 percent.

You know that plant on the windowsill you keep half-forgetting to water, then feel a little proud of when it survives anyway? Mother Green has that same stubborn, thriving energy, and Fat Hill Brewing just put it in a glass.

It's a Juicy IPA built on Enigma and Talus hops, and together they land on a flavor combination that's genuinely easier to taste than describe, pine, white wine, berry, and melon, all showing up at once. A soft base of malted oats and wheat keeps it smooth rather than sharp, so even at 7.9% ABV and 40 IBU it drinks like something you'd actually want on a hot week, not a beer performing for you.

Fat Hill's taproom in Mason City has a book club going this week, and yoga in the park too, so clearly this is a place that wants you to stick around a while, not just grab a pint and go.

It's on tap now.

Come by and see if it's as good as your stubborn houseplant.
