Name: Punk Oktoberfest
Start: 2026-10-10
Location: Lakewood Brewing Company

Lakewood Brewing Company in Garland, Texas, is the sort of place that makes you wonder why every town hasn’t caught up. Their TX Brisket Flatbread is not just a topping; it’s a culinary revelation that sits comfortably alongside a rotating roster of brews that have grown richer and more adventurous with each passing year. The menu, once a modest affair, now reads like a masterclass in flavor pairing, proving that a brewery can be both a pub and a respectable eatery without pretending to be anything else.

A tour through the brewing floor feels less like a chore and more like a backstage pass to alchemy, with knowledgeable guides spilling secrets about hop selection and fermentation timing that would make even the most seasoned malt‑enthusiast nod in approval. The outdoor biergarten boasts dart boards and shuffleboard, turning a casual pint into a friendly competition, while a well‑kept kids’ playground ensures families can linger without the usual guilt‑trip (the kind of place you wish existed everywhere). All in all, Lakewood delivers top‑notch food, clever drink options, and a welcoming atmosphere that feels both polished and genuinely unpretentious.
