Simple Motive Brewing Co. (Craft Beer & Brewery in Yonkers NY)

Simple Motive Brewing Co. sits in Yonkers, New York, and immediately convinces you that a brewery can be more than a glorified kitchen. The space is striking enough to host weddings, product launches, or any gathering that needs a backdrop of polished metal and warm wood, while the staff treat you like royalty without the pretentious pomposity you’d expect from a place that knows its hops.

The tap list reads like a small encyclopedia of good taste, with a vast selection of well‑made beers that never feel like a gimmick. Their hoppy IPAs boast flavor profiles so distinctive they could have their own fan club—citrusy, resinous, and just bitter enough to make you grin. Behind the bar, the bartenders wield their knowledge like a badge of honor, offering explanations that would make even the most indifferent drinker feel a tad smarter.

In short, Simple Motive delivers a combination of beautiful surroundings, staff who truly go the extra mile, and beers that demonstrate what craft can achieve when you stop treating it as a marketing stunt and start treating it as an art form. (The result is a place you’ll want to return to, time and again.)
