Name: Fly Tying Night
Start: 2026-10-13
Location: Wooden Hill Brewing Company

Wooden Hill Brewing Company has the audacity to claim the title of Edina’s first brewery, and it wears that badge with swagger. Set in the suburb’s lively centre, the taproom is a playground where local art and craft beer collide – the walls change as often as the taps, and every piece sold goes straight into the artist’s pocket.

The brew line‑up is a study in ambition. The flagship Code 3 Juicy IPA drags award judges into a flavour‑storm that’s both bold and surprisingly balanced. Seasonal experiments like the marshmallow‑kissed Blackberry Pi prove that whimsy can taste sublime, while out‑of‑the‑ordinary drafts such as pickle‑infused beer and Mexican hot‑chocolate stout keep regulars guessing (the founders had been brewing in garages for years before making the jump).

Behind the bar, a full kitchen spins creative dishes that complement the ever‑rotating list of styles, from crisp lagers to barrel‑aged stouts. The space is generous, the seating plentiful, and the staff friendly enough to make even the busiest night feel like a gathering of old friends. All in all, Wooden Hill delivers craftsmanship with a wink, turning every visit into a small celebration of community and curiosity.
