Rocket Axe Throwing - Industry Brewing (Craft Beer & Brewery in Peoria IL)

Rocket Axe Throwing – Industry Brewing is the sort of place that makes you wonder why anyone ever settled for boring Saturday nights. Since 2018 it has been Central Illinois’ go‑to arena for hurling axes (over a hundred of them, all perfectly sharpened) while sipping what can only be described as a Mule IPA that actually tastes like a mule and not a mule’s shoe. The safety record is immaculate – not a single Band‑Aid required – thanks to coaches who can explain a perfect throw better than most people can explain the difference between an ale and a lager.

Three sites – Peoria, Bloomington and Normal – share the same quirky brew‑garden vibe: fire pits crackling, live music drifting, and a menu that swings between classic pub fare and inventive slushies. The bar also serves 100 % micheladas and a range of craft sodas, so you can hydrate whether you’re winning a round or merely watching friends miss the bullseye. For big parties the mobile unit rolls out, turning any venue into a proper ax‑throwing spectacle. The atmosphere, the challenges, and the personal attention from the staff combine to make a visit feel less like a night out and more like a well‑crafted, slightly dangerous celebration.
