Cabin Brewing Company has released the fourth round of Max Sat, a hazy IPA built around six hop varieties: Galaxy, Enigma, Rakau, Riwaka, Southern Cross, and Motueka. The brewery describes the combination as pointed straight at the Pacific.
Galaxy and Enigma anchor the fruit-forward side of the profile, while Rakau, Riwaka, Southern Cross, and Motueka add citrus and aromatics on top. According to the brewery, the beer delivers passionfruit, lime zest, white grape, ripe peach, and citrus candy, wrapped in a soft, hazy body. Cabin describes Max Sat as big, juicy, and unruly, with what it calls no inside voice.
This is the fourth batch of Max Sat that Cabin has brewed, a sign the recipe has held up over repeat runs. Max Sat is available now on tap, in cans, and in growlers at the Calgary taproom, and through the brewery's online shop.
