Logan's Run

Confluence named this Triple Hazy Double IPA after a regular at the taproom. At 10 percent, citrus-forward with passion fruit and peaches, that's a pretty good way to be remembered.

Ever wonder what it takes to get a beer named after you at your local taproom? Apparently just showing up enough that the brewers notice.

Logan's Run is Confluence Brewing's small-batch Triple IPA, hopped with Citra and Idaho 7 on their Pilot System, and named for a friend and regular who earned the honor the old-fashioned way. It comes in smooth and slightly sweet, citrus-forward, with passion fruit and peaches doing most of the talking, at a genuinely serious 10.0% ABV that doesn't announce itself the way you'd expect.

Des Moines' Confluence has a habit of turning taproom regulars into namesakes, which is a nice way of saying this brewery pays attention to who's actually drinking their beer.

Releasing Friday, July 17th, with distribution across Iowa starting the following Monday.

Not a bad way to get immortalized, honestly.
