Watts Brewing Company in Woodinville, Washington, is a place where old‑world brewing discipline meets the brash confidence of American craft. The owners, heirs to a beekeeping dynasty, have swapped honey for hops but kept the buzz, christening their ales with names that sound like a bee‑lover’s diary. Inside, the taproom feels more like a honey‑comb than a sterile showroom; you can sip a pint beside the gleaming fermenters, catch a football match on the wall TV, or stroll into a garden tended by solitary bees (a tiny tribute to their ancestry).
The beer list is a parade of nuance and daring: a rotating roster of experimental batches, seasonal brews that change faster than fashion trends, and a core line of house‑crafted stalwarts that never disappoint. Food options are limited but surprisingly tasty, and the venue boasts generous parking and a spotless environment even when the crowd swells. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or a curious newcomer, Watts delivers quality without the pretension, proving that a little bee‑inspired swagger can make a brewpub genuinely delightful.
