Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling Co. (Craft Beer & Brewery in Newport RI)

Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling Co. sits in Newport, Rhode Island, where the motto is simple: pour something worth talking about. The taproom buzzes with the same energy as a Saturday night in a pub that actually cares about its product, and the rooftop patio commands a view of the Pell Bridge that makes you feel you’ve stumbled onto a secret stage.

Their lineup reads like a master‑class in American craft: a New England IPA that punches you awake, a barrel‑aged stout smoother than a velvet glove, and the Rhody Ruckus Lager that’s become a local anthem. Live music, bingo nights, and comedy shows turn a regular drinking session into an event, while a partnership with URI Athletics adds a splash of hometown pride (the founders, long‑time friends, decided early on that sport and stout belong together).

Beyond beer, the award‑winning distillery whips out unique spirits that sit comfortably beside the massive indoor and outdoor spaces, complete with TVs for a laid‑back vibe. Whether you’re hunting the highly‑recommended Schedule 80 or simply soaking up the atmosphere, Newport Craft Brewing delivers quality craftsmanship with a cheeky grin and plenty of room to enjoy it.
