Barnstormer Brewing & Distilling Co. Brewpub Restaurant (Craft Beer & Brewery in Barrie ON)

Barnstormer Brewing & Distilling Co. sits in Barrie, Ontario, where the air smells of hops rather than jet fuel. The place is an aviation‑themed brewpub that takes its craft seriously: every beer is all‑natural, unfiltered and untouched by preservatives or pasteurisation. The result is a lineup that punches well above its weight, from crisp lagers to hop‑laden IPAs, plus a rotating roster of collaborations that keep even the most seasoned palate guessing.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by cheeky airplane décor and a menu that treats food with the same respect as the beer. Fresh, high‑quality dishes complement the brews, while attentive staff make sure glasses stay full and jokes stay fresh. The atmosphere feels more like a welcoming hangar than a pretentious cocktail bar, and the extensive selection of lagers and IPAs proves that Barnstormer can soar on flavour alone (the founders, long‑time friends of aviation, wanted a place where craft and adventure could share a flight plan). In short, this is a brewery that marries daring inspiration with meticulous craftsmanship, delivering drinks that feel both bold and perfectly calibrated.
