Name: Wine & French Fry Pairing
Start: 2026-10-28
Location: Crooked Can Brewing Co.

Crooked Can Brewing Co. is the sort of place that makes you think someone finally discovered how to mix a decent pint with a proper sense of humour. Tucked into Hilliard’s buzzing Center Street Market, the family‑friendly taproom feels less like a sterile showcase and more like a well‑kept secret where locals actually enjoy their beer. Their lineup swings from dependable year‑round stalwarts to seasonal experiments that keep the palate guessing, all served in a cosy, intimate setting that somehow manages to feel both lively and relaxed.

The real charm is the community spirit (the staff will gladly host trivia nights, live music, or a private get‑together without making you feel like you’ve intruded on a private club). Their flavor wizardry includes a peanut‑butter stout that smells like a jar of the stuff and a watermelon gose that balances sweet, sour, and hop‑driven crispness with surgical precision. For those who prefer their booze on the go, pre‑mixed cocktails come bottled, ready to escort you home. In short, Crooked Can is a neighbourhood‑style brewery and dining hall that proves quality craftsmanship and a good laugh can, and should, go hand in hand.
