Cross Keys Brewing Co. (Craft Beer & Brewery in Mt Laurel Township NJ)

Cross Keys Brewing Co. is a hyper‑local South Jersey operation that thinks the world of beer the same way a child thinks the world of chocolate – with reckless enthusiasm and a refusal to settle for the ordinary. Based in Mt Laurel Township, New Jersey, the brewery dishes out unique flavor profiles that manage to be both daring and drinkable, the most famous being the Heavily Meddled Double IPA, a hop‑laden beast that still respects the palate.

Beyond the ale, the venue is a playground for adults who still enjoy a good laugh. Stand‑up comedy nights, chili cook‑offs and live music turn the tasting room into a buzzing hub of entertainment. The bar itself, constructed from literal keys encased in resin, is a cheeky nod to the name, while a rotating lineup of taps keeps the selection as fresh as a newly‑cut lawn. Seasonal brews appear and disappear with the same drama as a reality‑TV finale, each one crafted to consistent, high‑quality standards.

Family‑friendly food options and reliable takeout mean you don’t have to choose between a pint and a burger, and the ever‑changing special beers surprise even the most seasoned drinkers. Board games sit on the shelves for those who prefer a quieter kind of competition. In short, Cross Keys delivers inventive, well‑made beer without the pretentious fluff (the founders once tried to brew a beer in a bathtub), proving that serious craftsmanship can still be a great laugh.
