Portage Brewing Company sits on the edge of Leech Lake, just outside Walker, Minnesota, with the Chippewa National Forest as its backdrop. Founder Jeff Vondenkamp turned a spectacular flop into a thriving laboratory of flavour, and each pour feels like a celebration of that stubbornness.
