LaTulip Brewing Company in Cooks, Michigan, is the kind of place that makes you wonder whether the craft beer gods ever take a day off. Their tap list reads like a cheat‑sheet for anyone who thinks “unique” is a synonym for “ordinary” – experimental IPAs sit shoulder‑to‑shoulder with a ruby‑red sour that smells faintly of summer berries, while a perfectly balanced stout proves that darkness can be comforting, not menacing.
The real surprise is the inclusive side of the operation. Gluten‑free options aren’t an afterthought but a fully fledged lineup, served with a selection of snacks that actually taste good (a rare achievement in this business). Non‑alcoholic drinks flow from the tap alongside the brews, ensuring that even the designated drivers can feel part of the action. For the indecisive, flight combinations of beers, wines, and seltzers let you sample the whole spectrum without committing to a single pint (the founders, seasoned brew‑nerds, clearly understand the value of variety).
All of this is housed in a cozy, pressure‑free setting where the only thing louder than the laughter is the clink of glasses. LaTulip manages to be both inventive and welcoming, a rare balance that deserves a raise of the glass.
Reviewers praise LaTulip Brewing Company for its excellent beer, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff, with many enjoying their flights of craft brews, wine, and non-alcoholic options, along with the added perks like free popcorn and games.
