America’s First All Imperial Brewing Company

Greater Good Imperial Brewing Company in Worcester, Massachusetts, proudly claims the title of America’s first all‑imperial brewery. Every draught here tips the scales at 8 % ABV or more, so you’re not just drinking beer—you’re swallowing a lesson in confidence. The brew‑team shuns shortcuts, hauling premium hops, malts and yeast from every corner of the globe before coaxing them into a meticulous process that yields flavors as bold as a brass band and as smooth as a well‑timed punchline.

The tap room is a shrine to the absurdly enthusiastic: wooden keg tables double as convenient bag‑stashes, and a life‑size moose watches over you as you ponder the bourbon‑barrel stout that could convince a skeptic that oak aging is nothing short of alchemy (it’s a marvel). The menu now boasts seasoned fries, because why should the sides be as timid as the average lager?

Beyond the liquid bravado, Greater Good lives up to its name with the Acts of Greater Good initiative, funneling a portion of each pour into local charities. The result is a place where big, daring beer meets big, generous hearts—an experience that feels like a high‑five to craftsmanship itself.
