Crooked Ewe Brewery & Ale House (Craft Beer & Brewery in South Bend IN)

Crooked Ewe Brewery & Ale House in South Bend, Indiana, is a lively hub where the love of a good pint meets a genuine community spirit. The place rolls out handcrafted brews—from smooth cask‑conditioned ales to daring small‑batch experiments—served in unmistakably robust tankard‑style glasses that make you feel like you’ve joined a secret society (the Crooked Union, that is). Members of that union collect perks faster than a collector’s edition bottle: discounted pints, exclusive swag, a commemorative glass, and the generous “buy four, get one free” deal that keeps the tap running and the chatter flowing.

Food follows the same unapologetic honesty. Smoked wings have earned a reputation as the “must‑try” item, and the hot‑honey chicken skillet turns any brunch into a celebration of sweet and spice. A parade of smoked meats—including a perfectly smoked brisket—pairs effortlessly with the brewery’s lineup, while the vegan comfort menu proves that plant‑based fare can still pack a punch. All in all, Crooked Ewe delivers flavor and fun in equal measure, proving that great beer and great company belong together, no pretense required.
