Name: Glasshole Helles
Start: 2026-10-24
Location: Black Lung Brewing Company

Black Lung Brewing Company in Round Lake Beach, Illinois, is where craft beer meets culture without the pretentious fluff. Two taprooms—one on the lively Round Lake Beach strip and the other overlooking Fox Lake’s glassy horizon—serve as playgrounds for the serious and the silly alike. The Round Lake venue doubles as an art gallery and live‑music stage, while the Fox Lake spot pairs lake‑view dining with smash burgers that could out‑shine many gourmet plates.

Inside, the beer list is a lesson in variety: crisp sours, hazy IPAs that hazily whisper “summer,” and a bourbon‑barrel‑aged brew that proudly wears a distinctive logo. A foosball table adds competitive charm, and dogs are welcomed (the founders once tried brewing a beer with actual lung tissue—just kidding). Every pint pours a story of passion and craftsmanship, and the live‑music evenings make the whole place feel like a celebration of flavor and camaraderie.

In short, Black Lung isn’t just a place to drink; it’s a community hub where art, music, good food and top‑tier beer collide, proving that a little imagination can turn a taproom into a cultural hotspot.
