Union Station Brewing Company in Jesup, Georgia, is the kind of place that makes you wonder whether you’ve stumbled onto a secret society of flavour‑fiends. Their Devil’s Brew Red starts with a toasted‑malt smoothness that feels like a polite handshake, then the habanero kick erupts like a prank‑call from a mischievous chef. It’s a drink that whispers sweetly before shouting, “Hold onto your taste buds!”
If you prefer something a bit darker, the Little Red Caboose delivers a stout so rich with chocolate and cherries it could convince a poet that midnight is edible. It’s the kind of brew that makes pretentious beer‑snobs look like they’re reading the menu upside‑down.
Beyond the pint, the brewery offers axe throwing (because why not combine danger with drink?), a breezy beer garden, and a menu that proudly includes Trainwreck nachos—a dish that sounds like a culinary disaster but tastes like a victory. The family‑owned operation is kid‑ and pet‑friendly, serves seltzers that sit comfortably beside Truly, and is gearing up for an upgraded brewing system that promises even finer draughts. (The founders have been tinkering for years, and the result is pure, unpretentious craft.)
All in all, Union Station proves that good beer, a dash of mischief, and a splash of community can make a truly memorable experience.
