Eden Abbey Brewing Community (Craft Beer & Brewery in Mt Dora FL)

Eden Abbey Brewing Community in Mt Dora, Florida, is a rare breed of craft operation that pretends it’s a centuries‑old monastery while actually running on modern enthusiasm and a solid dose of generosity. Their brews are bespoke – the kind you’d expect monks to perfect after a lifetime of chanting, but with a 21st‑century twist (the founders once tried brewing a batch while reciting poetry, and the result was surprisingly drinkable).

The flagship Belgian Tripel pours like liquid sunshine, and the rest of the line—hazies, barrel‑aged sours, and seasonal experiments—gets aged in‑house to keep quality under tight control. A sprawling beer garden offers family‑friendly seating, and the food menu is anchored by burgers and chicken bites that could make a grill master weep with joy.

Beyond the booze, Eden Abbey is a genuine community hub: friends gather, stories flow as smoothly as the draught, and every pint contributes to a larger purpose. The vibe is Bohemian and laid‑back, perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy a great ale without the pretentious fanfare often found in craft‑beer circles. Craft, craftiness, and compassion – all in one pint.
