Surf culture on the Great Lakes is a smaller scene than the ocean version, which is exactly the kind of detail a can label can quietly celebrate instead of explaining.
Fifth Coast Hazy IPA is Side Launch's tribute to that scene, at 6.4% ABV, with juicy peach and stone fruit notes built for chasing waves that happen to be freshwater ones. The label carries a nod to one of the brewery's own favourite local surf spots, the kind of detail that means nothing to a stranger and everything to the person who already knows the coastline. Ontario-made, in the most literal sense.
