Cerveza del Rio

Hey, did you hear Blackfoot put a lime-forward Mexican Lager on tap, and had it crafted to remove gluten while they were at it? Good excuse to beat the heat this week.

Hey, did you hear Blackfoot River just put a new one on tap that's basically built for the exact weather we're having right now?

Cerveza del Rio is a very light Mexican Lager with a hint of malt sweetness and a crisp, refreshing finish, at 5.2% ABV and 16 IBU. Motueka, Mandarina Bavaria, and Lemon Drop hops were picked specifically to give it a lime-like flavor, and it's crafted to remove gluten on top of that. Nothing complicated going on here, just a beer that knows exactly what job it's supposed to do this time of year.

New on tap now at the Helena taproom, where growler fills also run $1.50 off Sundays and Wednesdays. Worth stopping by for a pour and a break from the heat.
