Some beer names describe the beer, and some just describe your reaction to it. Well, I'll Be! from Fonta Flora Brewery is firmly the latter, a hazy pale ale dry-hopped with Citra, Galaxy, and Mosaic, three hops that between them cover most of the greatest hits of modern hazy brewing.
Pale ales sit in a slightly awkward spot these days, often overshadowed by their louder IPA cousins, but that's really an argument in their favor rather than against. Lower gravity means the hop character has to do more with less, and a Citra, Galaxy, Mosaic combination is about as reliable a trio as exists for pulling tropical fruit and citrus out of a lighter frame without leaning on extra alcohol to carry the flavor.
Fonta Flora, out in Morganton, North Carolina, has built its name on more unusual, ingredient-forward beers, so a straightforwardly excellent hazy pale ale is a nice change of pace, proof the brewery can do the expected thing just as well as the weird thing when it wants to.
This one surfaced on July 3rd and is draft only for now, so track down your local account rep or catch it wherever Fonta Flora is currently pouring.
If the name doesn't sell you, the hop bill should. Either way, you'll probably end up saying it out loud anyway.
